The 39th Annual Castro Street Fair will take place on Sunday, October 7, 2012.  Founded by Harvey Milk in 1974, our fair is one of the oldest street festivals in San Francisco. Every year, over fifty thousand people join in our celebration.

With five entertainment areas, there is something for everyone to enjoy. At the Main Stage, we showcase the best in local and developing talent, and at the Red Rock Stage, one can sample the local alternative live music scene. Over at the Dance area, notable DJs spin from around the world, and the popular Country and Western dance area is where hundreds of people happily two-step and line dance the afternoon away. Barnaby's World Of Wonderment channels the founding spirit of the Fair and provides a fantastically frivolous experience, where local artists and performers create fun, interactive experiences for fair attendees.

Add the hundreds of vendors, tasty food offerings, and adult beverage booths, and you've got the recipe for a great day in one of the most fabulous neighborhoods in San Francisco.
