The Castro Street Fair supports selected organizations important to the Castro Community by providing financial grants from proceeds of the Fair. Organizations provide volunteers for the Fair in exchange for a share in the proceeds. Proceeds are earned from monies collected at the gates and patrons of the Castro Street Fair beverage booths. The Fair granted more than $95,000.00 in grants to local organizations in 2007.

Beneficiaries for the 2008 Castro Street Fair have not yet been announced.
